Missouri Professional Learning Communities

The Missouri Professional Learning Communities Project (PLC) is a comprehensive school improvement process that guides schools in Missouri to focus on the fundamental purpose of schooling:  Learning.  School personnel develop a vision of their ideal school where all students learn.  They commit to behaviors that will help them reach their vision and set goals that are SMART (strategic, measurable, achievable, results-oriented, and time-bound).  School faculties work in collaborative teams and they focus on student learning and improving student achievement.
